Stephen Wu

Stephen Wu is an attorney and shareholder with Silicon Valley Law Group in San Jose, CA. He advises clients on privacy, security, transactions, compliance, liability, and governance of information technologies, such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, robotics, Big Data, and the Internet of Things. He negotiates technology agreements, resolves disputes, and serves as an outside general counsel for emerging companies. An author of seven security legal books and numerous other publications, Wu is the Chair of the American Bar Association Artificial Intelligence & Robotics National Institute. Wu was the 2010-11 Chair of the American Bar Association Science & Technology Law Section. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1988 and was VeriSign’s second in-house attorney.
