At RSAC Conference, our mission is to help move the cybersecurity industry forward by creating a forum where the global cybersecurity community can come together to learn and innovate. As we strive toward this mission, we also aim to support the local San Francisco community, while doing our part to reduce the environmental impact and increase the social impact of our event. RSAC Conference strives to make impactful decisions through procurement and supplier partnerships.
Venue Selection
Choosing an RSAC Conference venue directly affects RSAC carbon emissions and the overall environmental impact of bringing the cybersecurity community together. By choosing to host RSAC Conference at the Moscone Center, we are choosing the highest scoring Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) convention center in the world.
Environmental Sustainability
Waste Management
RSAC Conference is working to reduce the waste created and we invite our partners to do the same.
- In partnership with the Moscone Center, RSAC Conference waste is sorted to reduce contamination within the compost and recycling streams.
- Exhibitors are asked to take a sustainability survey to share with us what decisions they are making while at RSAC Conference.
- Attendees can also get involved by making mindful decisions on what materials are being brought to the Conference. Remember to bring your reusable bottles and cups.
