Bringing Order to Chaos: The Development of Nation-State Cyber-Norms

Posted on in Presentations

Cyberspace is regularly described in the media (and by cybersecurity vendors) as a lawless domain with few constraints on major players such as nation-states, but recent events do not bear that out. This panel will review behavior by these major players that reveals evolving standards of conduct that constructively shape their behavior.

Learning Objectives:
1: Hear case against myth that Cyberspace is a lawless domain with no constraints on states.
2: Explore a framework to help understand nation-state behavior in the cyber-domain.
3: Understand how nation-state threats might impact your organization.
