Tom Corcoran

Tom Corcoran is Farmers Insurance’s Head of Cyber Security. He previously served as Zurich Insurance’s Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence from 2015 to 2017. Prior to working for Zurich Insurance, Corcoran worked in Congress as a senior staffer on the House and Senate intelligence oversight committees from 2001 to 2014, advising committee members on cybersecurity policy and a wide range of other national security issues. Corcoran was a Civilian Intelligence Officer from 1992 to 1999 for the Defense Intelligence Agency with service in Somalia and Korea. He was also a Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer and was deployed to Bosnia, Guantanamo Bay and Afghanistan. Corcoran has a BA from George Washington University and an MA from Johns Hopkins University.
