Julie Bowen is Senior Vice President, Operations, Outreach and Chief Legal Officer of The MITRE Corporation. Bowen is MITRE’s Chief Legal Officer and oversees an in-house legal team that advises MITRE’s leadership and employees on all legal matters including cybersecurity issues, contracting, international and global presence, intellectual property, employment matters, healthcare law, and national security issues. She also runs MITRE’s operations, including enterprise risk management, global security services, facilities and outreach and partnerships, which includes technology transfer to industry. Bowen graduated with honors from The Catholic University of America, with both bachelor’s and law degrees.
