April Doss spent over a decade at the National Security Agency working in a variety of capacities, including technology development, intelligence oversight, information sharing policy, counterterrorism, foreign liaison, and serving as the head of intelligence law in NSA’s Office of General Counsel. Doss become a Partner in the law firm Saul Ewing chairing the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy practice group. She served as Senior Minority Counsel to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence before returning to Saul Ewing. Prior to 2003, Doss practiced law as a Public Defender, Civil Litigator, and In-House Counsel at a college. Doss holds degrees from Yale, the University of California at Berkeley, and Goucher College, and holds CISSP and CIPP-US certifications.
