For 35 years and counting, RSAC™ Conference has served as a window into the cybersecurity community's future. In this report, we synthesize several years of data from our Call for Submissions, Innovation Sandbox competition, Exhibitor descriptions, session attendance patterns, and session evaluations—including from RSAC 2026 Conference—to assess the state of cybersecurity and to predict its course for 2027:

• At RSAC 2026, “Security for AI” took top billing for the first time, but in 2027, GRC will reclaim its crown among Senior Leaders
• Senior Leaders prioritize vetting new startups, and they’ll do so at least 10% more in 2027
• RSAC sees early signs of cyber insurance premium increases; negotiate now to avoid price hikes
• Tap Brazil for cybersecurity talent
