CyberSmart: Parents Education Workshop – Prior to the conference, RSA Conference hosted San Francisco area parents for at the first-ever CyberSmart: Parents Education Workshop on Sunday, February 28. During this half-day interactive workshop, parents heard from industry experts on best practices for how to keep kids safe online. Topics included understanding how kids interact with the landscape of today’s technology, the top three risks posed to kids who use the Internet, and the best ways to engage with, educate and monitor kids’ activities online.

Innovation Sandbox – Kicking off on Monday, February 29, the popular Innovation Sandbox program culminates with one finalist recognized as “RSA Conference 2016’s Most Innovative Startup.” The 2016 program marks 11 years since the event launched at RSA Conference 2005 as Innovation Station.

The Sandbox – RSA Conference will offer “sandboxes” to learn how to encrypt mobile device emails, surf anonymously online, study the impact of Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, test network security at SANS NetWars, and experiment on what happens to healthcare, finance or energy sectors when our critical infrastructure (ICS) is tested.
