Why Outer Space Is the Next Frontier for Cybersecurity

Posted on in Presentations

This session explains why cyberattacks will be the likely mode of conflict in outer space. For technical and policy planning in this next frontier, it’s vital to have a full range of space cyberattack scenarios in mind, yet the ones offered are typically few, obvious, and under-developed. The session will also discuss our NSF project that has yielded about 100 novel/surprising scenarios.
