Human trafficking does not only happen on the “dark web”. Classified ads in open source can provide valuable leads for surfacing human trafficking indicators. This session will share a proof-of-concept study that demonstrates how first responders can monitor sources of interest to generate valuable leads for initiating investigations, building cases, and assisting human trafficking survivors.
