Democratic nations have stepped back from standards development leadership in recent years, resulting in diminished influence over the security of standards for emerging technologies such as 5G, AI/ML and IoT/Smart Cities. This talk will make concrete recommendations for industry representatives in democratic nations to rebuild their standing in venues where security-critical choices are being made.
