This session will take a Journey into breach data from the 2022 Shanghai Nation Police information database compromise. Over 22 terabytes of data was exfiltrated and posted for-sale on the dark web by a threat actor named ChinaDan. The data contained information on over one billion Chinese residence, including name, address, birthplace, ID. This talk looks at the breach data and its value.
