Unlike general purpose computers, HPCs are used mostly for distinct mathematical and scientific purposes and often employ exotic hardware and software, and can have 100s of users. Users view compute time on HPC systems as valuable. These systems are limited in number, so users tend to dislike cybersecurity measure that create overhead. This session will discuss the need to assure resilience and confidence.
