Attacking SCADA/ICS could leave a country without electricity, lead to huge financial losses and, what’s worst, could cost lives. The speaker will discuss his research on SCADA/ICS security and show examples of vulnerabilities from previously conducted penetration tests. The talk will include a review of practical exploitation techniques and a live demonstration of simulated attacks on the power grid.
Pre-Requisites: General knowledge of hacking and IT security, knowledge of TCP/IP, industrial protocols. At least basic programming knowledge (C, Python) will be a plus.
