Cryptojacking became so attractive to cybercrime to the point of getting priority over ransomware. Virtually every new critical vulnerability these days is targeted by different actors fighting for the victim’s CPU. This talk will present a walk-through of a remarkable incident caused by an eager and clumsy attacker which ended up revealing one of the first global crypto-mining campaigns.
