The UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has developed the Code of Practice for Consumer IoT Security. Its aim is to support all parties involved in the development, manufacturing and retail of consumer IoT to ensure that products are secure by design. It is also backed by a digital mapping of global IoT security and privacy recommendations which is available as open data.
Learning Objectives:
1: Learn about action on consumer IoT security by governments.
2: Understand what action you can take to ensure IoT products are secure by design.
3: Understand the IoT security standards and recommendations landscape, and how it links together.
