A New Employer-Driven Model of Cyber-Workforce Development for Dell

Posted on in Presentations

Today’s cybersecurity training landscape fails employers by producing over-credentialed, yet under-qualified, job candidates. Employers contribute to this problem by lacking clearly defined roles. This session will examine a use case where job role and skills assessments were applied to Dell Inc.’s core cyber-staff resulting in a more effective cybersecurity workforce development and training path.

Learning Objectives:
1: Learn to identify professional and career pathways for your company’s cybersecurity professionals.
2: Glean how this new model can assist in recruiting and other talent strategies.
3: Understand a starting point to assess cyber-employees’ skills and competencies.
