Building the Roots of the Quantum-Safe World

Posted on in Presentations

The forthcoming arrival of the quantum computers threatens current cryptographic systems and calls for an overhaul of our cryptographic tools. Trust for digital systems will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. With demos and practical examples, this talk will present a case study of early adoption of quantum-safe technologies and discuss the challenges that had to be overcome along the way.

Learning Objectives:
1: Understand the threat quantum computing presents to current cryptography.
2: Learn what challenges migration to new cryptographic algorithms presents for production systems.
3: Find out how a concrete transition of a real-world production system was performed successfully.

Pre-Requisites:
Basic understanding of encryption and authentication.
