On 10 July 2017, Singapore issued a proposed cybersecurity bill for public consultation. The bill is aimed at strengthening Singapore’s resiliency against the proliferation of cyberattacks and threats worldwide. As the public consultation will close on 3 August, this session will be timely in discussing some of the key implications arising from Singapore’s new cybersecurity legislation.
