Creating a space where all cybersecurity professionals feel welcome and valued is at the heart of all that RSA Conference does. We are thrilled to be able to bring all cybersecurity professionals together and empower the collective “we” of the industry at RSA Conference 2022.
Because we value diversity and inclusivity (D&I), we continue the work of creating programs that highlight the achievements of those who have traditionally been underrepresented in our collective voices. As part of our effort to represent all genders, orientations, physical abilities, religions, ethnicities, and experiences, we are excited to bring two special programs to the RSAC 2022 agenda. Both the Inclusive Security program and the Equality Lounge are examples of content and activities that create an environment for positivity and inclusivity that spotlight collaboration and give voice to all so that we can unlock the industry’s truest potential.
In years past, we had a seminar series, She Speaks Security, that encouraged more women to participate in the RSAC Call for Speakers process. Inclusive Security is the evolution of that series. In developing our Inclusive Security program, RSAC collaborated with industry associations and partners, including The Diana Initiative, We Open Tech, EWF, and Women in CyberSecurity. These sessions are open to all pass holders and will take place on Tuesday, June 7, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM in Moscone South. The agenda features a collection of sessions from Data Inventory Workshop to Starting Your Own Women’s Security Chapter and Inclusive Mentorship: Building a Framework. The day will culminate with the RSAC Women’s Networking Reception.
Welcome cocktails are also available on Monday, June 6 at 5 PM as The Female Quotient, Deloitte, and RSA Conference kick off the Equality Lounge to celebrate women across the cybersecurity industry. Throughout the week, all attendees can listen in on panel discussions on a wide range of topics, from “Building Investable Businesses” to “Debunking the Limited Mindsets That Hold Women Back.”
Hosted in Moscone North, Booth N-6179, the Equality Lounge welcomes all pass holders. Here, you can partake in this one-of-a-kind networking event celebrating the contributions and rich history of women in science and technology. The Equality Lounge will be open to everyone who’s committed to driving equality in the cyber industry and will spotlight women and allies who are at the forefront of the cyber revolution.
