Valecia Maclin

Valecia Maclin is General Manager Engineering, Customer Security and Trust at Microsoft, where she’s responsible for advancing customers’ trust in Microsoft products and services through the provision of engineering solutions to teams including Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit, and corporate-wide security development lifecycle governance. Prior to Microsoft, Maclin led large mission critical programs in cybersecurity and national security in support of multiple intelligence agencies. She holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and material science from Duke University; a master of science degree in the management of technology from the University of Pennsylvania; and multiple professional certifications including PMP, CISSP, ISSMP, GSLC, ITIL, and Agile SCRUM Master.
