Tal Rabin is a senior principal applied scientist and manager of the Cryptographic Foundation group at Amazon Web Services and a professor of CS at UPenn. Prior to that she was Head of Research at Algorand Foundation and a Distinguished Research Staff Member and manager of the Cryptographic Research Group at IBM Research. Her research is in the general area of cryptography and more specifically on secure multiparty computation. Tal is an ACM Fellow, an IACR Fellow and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her work has won the Dijkstra Prize 2023, the 30-year test of time award at STOC 2021. She is recipient of the RSAC Award for Excellence in Math 2019 and the 2014 Anita Borg Women of Vision Award. She was named by Forbes 2018 as one of the Top 50 Women in Tech in the world.
