Steve Ocepek

Steve Ocepek is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with a knack for blending technical prowess with an entrepreneurial spirit. Steve co-founded an early Network Access Control company, which was acquired by Trustwave, where he joined Spiderlabs and started Spiderlabs Research. In 2016, Steve worked with IBM to build and establish X-Force Red; he received the honor of Distinguished Engineer for his work in establishing a Risk-Based Vulnerability Management program.  Today Steve is a Managing Director at Kroll, helping and educating clients with their cyber security programs. Beyond the corporate realm, Steve volunteers at Akron STEM High School, where he works with community partners to give students real-world, job-focused cybersecurity experience.
