Sofia Nicholson

Sofia Nicholson is a SOC Investigator of cybersecurity incidents and events for Microsoft Corporation. Additionally, Sofia provides mentorship to those pursuing a career in cyber. She was recognized as a finalist in CEH’s Top 100 Hall of Fame 2021. Sofia holds a B.S. in Cybersecurity by University of Maryland Global Campus and is currently pursuing an M.B.A with George Mason University. Sofia is a retired Army combat Veteran that currently resides in Northern Virginia (NOVA) with her husband and two children. She is second generation American with Cuban heritage and speaks Spanish natively. With a passion to increase the size of the Latin(o)(a)(X)/Hispanic cyber community and provide networking and educational resources to Latin(o)(a)(X)/Hispanic people, Sofa is excited to be the D.C. Regional Director for Raices Cyber Org!
