Josh Shaul

Josh Shaul is a 20-year veteran of the information security industry, with deep experience in cryptographic systems and protocols, application and database security, penetration testing and incident response—in both traditional on-premises deployments and modern cloud-based systems. Shaul currently leads Akamai’s web security business, responsible for directing security products, threat research, managed security services for the firm. He is a regular Speaker at major industry events such as RSAC, Black Hat, bSides, Virus Bulletin, G-First, and is often leveraged by major media outlets as an expert source for commentary on security incidents.
