Joseph Bonneau is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford and a Technology Fellow at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He started researching cryptocurrencies as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Information Technology Policy, Princeton. Before that he worked at Google, Inc. and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge. He has taught cryptocurrency courses at Princeton and Stanford and online at Coursera and Piazza, and is the Co-Author of a forthcoming textbook on cryptocurrencies _Bitcoin and cryptocurrency technologies_ from Princeton University Press.
