ISACA Board Director Gregory J. Touhill, CISM, CISSP, Brigadier General (ret),, is the director of the CERT Division at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He is on the Symantec Federal Advisory Board, the federal advisory board of Splunk and the cyber committee of AFCEA International. He was selected by President Obama as the US government’s first CISO. His civilian government service includes Deputy Assistant Secretary, Cybersecurity and Communications at the Department of Homeland Security, and as Director of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center. He is a retired Air Force general officer, a highly decorated combat leader, and a former American diplomat.
