Gregory S. Fryer is a Senior Corporate and Securities Partner at Verrill Dana, LLP. He is a former Chair of the Business Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association, and is a frequent Writer, Commenter and Speaker on securities law topics, including the JOBS Act and associated SEC rulemaking on Rule 506, Regulation A+ and Crowdfunding. He serves as General Counsel to a number of companies. Fryer is a graduate of Dartmouth College (magna cum laude) and Cornell Law School (Cornell Law Review). Fryer is a former Trustee of the Maine Bar Foundation; a former Board Member of the state-owned Maine Venture Fund ; a member of Maine Angels (a private angel investor network); and serves on the Board of Trustees of Maine Maritime Academy (one of six state maritime academies in the United States).
