David Westgard

Dave has worked in information security and incident response for 14 years, and is currently a lead engineer on the Threat Detection Operations team in Target's Cyber Fusion Center. He builds endpoint and network threat detection by using intelligence and data analytics to identify anomalous and malicious network behavior. Dave led the effort to integrate ATT&CK language into detection logic for the incident response team at Target. Dave is also a retired MSgt. with 25 years of service in the Minnesota Air National Guard.
