Margaret Honda

As the Director of Academic Relations at the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Margaret leads the expansion of programming focused on developing partnerships with academic institutions and improving the readiness of graduates for current and future privacy and data protection jobs. An academic achievement award which has recognized over 100 future leaders in the field of privacy is the program’s flagship offering. Previously Margaret led the IAPP's research strategy and operations function and researched the emerging professional space of content moderation and trust and safety. Before joining the IAPP, Margaret spent 13 years at the technology market research firm Forrester Research where she held various management and leadership positions.
