What Will It Take to Eliminate Passwords for Authentication?

Posted on in Presentations

Traditional methods of entering passwords for authentication have frustrated even the most patient users. Technology-inclined users already use biometrics like fingerprint, voice or facial recognition to access devices or make in-app digital payments. What can we do collectively to permanently move industries beyond passwords towards stronger authentication methods like biometrics?

Learning Objectives:
1: Discuss why passwords have survived this long despite being insecure.
2: Learn from use cases where companies/products have shifted to other forms of authentication.
3: Understand steps to consider when exploring a move away from passwords for your product/organization.
