The Art of the Nudge, Cheap Ways to Steer User Behavior

Manipulating human behavior is one of the oldest learned crafts of any civilization. The question “How do I get one person to do something I want them to do?” is fundamental to altering human behavior for our purposes. This session will teach attendees to become effective choice architects to nudge employees to choose a secure pathway when presented with a choice.

Learning Objectives:
1: Understand what a nudge is and how it can be effective in altering human behavior.
2: Learn how to identify problems useful for addressing with a nudge.
3: Understand how to architect an effective nudge to alter behavior to act in a secure way.

Pre-Requisites:
Social engineering would a helpful concept for attendees to understand.
