Registration Questions
How do I register?
You should register online.
For any questions about registration, please contact the registration team on

How much does it cost to register for the Conference?
Depending on the type of registration and when you register, there are different costs. Please see our registration rates and packages.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept credit cards (American Express, Diners, Mastercard and Visa), cheques and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) / wire transfers. Purchase orders are not an accepted form of payment.

Are there any discounts for large groups?
Yes. Purchase a minimum of three (3) Full Conference registration passes in a single transaction and receive a £50 discount per registration. To register a group, please register the first person in the group. You will then have the opportunity to add additional people to your booking.
Will badges be posted in advance of the event?
No, badges will not be posted out in advance of the event. You may pick up your badge at the Registration Area at ExCeL London.
When can I pick up my badge?
You can pick up your badge from 08.00 hrs on Monday, 27th October when registration opens.

How can I review the status of my registration or change the contact details I entered on my registration form?

What is included in the Full Conference Pass?
Full Conference delegates will have access to sponsored Monday seminars, all keynote sessions, all track sessions, all activities in the Exhibition including special interest groups and Technology Showcase Theatre presentations, the Welcome Reception on Monday night, the Exhibition Happy Hour on Tuesday night and the official Conference bag.
What is included in the Exhibition Plus Pass?
Exhibition Plus delegates will have access to sponsored Monday seminars, all keynote sessions, one Conference track session of the delegate’s choice, all activities in the Exhibition including special interest groups and Technology Showcase Theatre presentations and the Welcome Reception on Monday night. Exhibition Plus delegates will also get a £100 discount off the RSA Conference Europe Full Conference registration fee in 2009.
What is included in the Exhibition Only Pass?
Exhibition Only delegates are free to attend all activities on the Exhibition floor beginning Tuesday including special interest groups and Technology Showcase Theatre presentations, and keynote sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tickets are available to purchase separately for the Welcome Reception on Monday night and the Exhibition Happy Hour on Tuesday night. Tickets for both events are £50 each.
Who qualifies for an Academic Pass?
To qualify for an Academic Pass, you must be a professor or student in full-time education at a further education college or university. You must supply proof of your academic standing or student ID when you check in on-site.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel your registration in writing by Friday 26th September, your fee will be returned less 25% to cover administrative expenses. After Friday 26th September, no refunds will be given. You can submit your cancellation request to:

How do I register as a Premier Club member?
You should have received a registration code via an HTML email from RSA Conference, which will allow you to register and claim your Premier Club registration discount. When registering, you must indicate all prior Conferences you have attended (subject to verification by Conference management). Only Full Conference delegates are eligible to receive Premier Club privileges. If you have questions about Premier Club registration please call our registration team on +44 (0) 1252 77 11 70.
What special advantages can I enjoy as a Premier Club Member?
Premier Club Members can register at the rate of £750 + VAT until 26th September. In addition Premier Club Members can take advantage of fast track registration on-site and VIP seating during Keynote sessions. Premier Club Members will have access to sponsored Monday seminars, all keynote sessions, all track sessions, all activities in the Exhibition including special interest groups and Technology Showcase Theatre presentations, the Welcome Reception on Monday night, the Exhibition Happy Hour on Tuesday night and the official Conference bag.
How do I become a Premier Club Member?
To qualify as a Premier Club Member you need to have attended one previous RSA Conference in Europe, the U.S. or Japan. If you attend RSA Conference Europe this year, you’ll become a Premier Club Member next year. What’s the nearest airport to ExCeL London?
The nearest airport, London City Airport, is just ten minutes away from ExCeL London by car or taxi. One of Europe’s fastest growing airports for business travel, London City Airport has a 10-minute check-in policy and over 200 flights a day to 30 European cities. These include Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Milan, Munich and Paris. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports all serve London too, with express trains to the heart of the city. You can then connect to ExCeL London via London Underground, or by road.
Are there special Conference rates at hotels near ExCeL London?
Five hotels are located on the ExCeL London campus, and we’ve negotiated special Conference rates at these hotels. Rates are available to suit all budgets. More information will be available on the Conference website from mid-June.
Is there parking near ExCeL London?
ExCeL London has parking on-site for over 4,000 cars and there’s easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13. Follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London.
We recommend that you pay for your parking before leaving ExCeL at one of the pay points located in the Boulevard. The points accept both cash and cards. Alternatively you can pay at the car park, but please note that these pay points only accept payment by card.
General Conference Questions
What is the expected attendance?
We’re expecting approximately 1,400 attendees at RSA Conference Europe 2008
What is the Conference attire?
Casual to business are both appropriate.
Do you have an age requirement for the Conference?
You must be 18 years of age to attend RSA Conference Europe 2008.
Where can I find the Conference session descriptions?
The session descriptions will be available here from the end of June.
Will presentations be available after the Conference?
After the Conference, all Full Conference delegates will receive details about how to access Conference presentations online.
Are meals included in the cost of registration?
Lunch will be provided each day for all Full Conference attendees. Snacks will also be available at the Welcome Reception on the Monday and at the Exhibition Happy Hour on the Tuesday.
Are Conference translation services available?
Unfortunately the Conference is held in English only at this time. As we continue to focus on the international market, we will consider this as a possible improvement for the future.

When can I begin building my stand?
Exhibition build times are as follows:
Sunday, 26th October: 08.00 – 17.00 hrs
Monday, 27th October: 08.00 – 15.00 hrs
PLEASE NOTE. All stands must be built by 15.00 hrs on Monday 27th October in time for the official opening of the Exhibition and Welcome Reception at 17.15 hrs.
When can I begin breaking down my stand?
You can begin breaking down your stand from 15.00 hrs on Wednesday 29thth October. All stands must be broken down by 21.00 hrs
What are the hours for Exhibitor Registration?
Sunday 26th October: 14.00-17.00 hrs*
Monday 27th October: 08.00-19.30 hrs
Tuesday 28th October: 08.00-19.45 hrs
Wednesday 29th October: 08.30-15.00 hrs
*Any exhibitor or sponsor wishing to access the Exhibition Hall between 08.00 hrs and 14:00 hrs on Sunday 26th October, should obtain a stand-build pass from the registration area.
How do I make sure I receive information about PR opportunities?
Please provide us with the contact details of your main PR contact by following the instructions on the Exhibitor Services page of the Conference website which will be available from the end of June. This should be your agency or in-house contact responsible for press conferences, press and analyst meetings and other PR opportunities.
Is there press meeting space available?
One-to-one press meeting space will be available at ExCeL London. Space must be reserved prior to the Conference. Instructions on how to reserve space will be available on the Exhibitor Services page of the Conference website from the end of June.
How do I book a press conference time slot?
Limited time slots for press conferences will be available. Space must be reserved prior to the Conference. Instructions on how to reserve space will be available on the Conference website from the end of June.

Press and Analyst Questions
What are the qualifications to get a press pass for a member of the press?
All delegates registering for a press pass will be asked to indicate the type of organisation they’re representing and provide information about their latest written article or report, with their name included, posted at an editorial or analyst website. The RSA Conference Europe PR Team will not search a website for articles and publication home pages will not be accepted.
What are the qualifications to get a press pass for industry analysts?
Analysts and writers from internationally recognised industry research providers who consistently write for regularly published newsletters and/or reports, must provide a business card with an editorial title and a sample of an industry-related report published in the past six months.
What are the qualifications to get a press pass for financial analysts?
Financial analysts, regardless of editorial assignments, will not be given editorial press passes.
How do I obtain a press pass?
Press registration will be open from mid-July and more information will be available then in the For Press section of the website.

Testing / Credits Questions
When is the CISSP exam and how do I register to take it?
There will not be a CISSP exam held during RSA Conference Europe this year.
How many CPE credits do I get for the Conference?
You can receive credits for your attendance at the Conference and to obtain CPE credits, you must self-report them. More detailed information can be found on our Association and Education Sponsors page.
