Ari Schwartz

Ari Schwartz is the Managing Director of Cybersecurity Services at Venable LLP. Prior to that, he served as the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Cybersecurity at the White House. He also served as the Technology Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce. Schwartz brings a unique perspective to the session; at the White House, he supervised the policy process which established the cybersecurity framework, and now in the private sector, he helps companies mitigate their cybersecurity risks and implement the cybersecurity framework. Additionally, he oversaw the Vulnerability Equities Process, and has coauthored a white paper on the subject.
