The students, parents, and communities affected had no seat at the table when those vendors set their cybersecurity priorities and budgets. In this session, we’ll explore the gap between edtech vendor commitments and actions, why reputational risk alone hasn't been enough to drive change, and what it looks like when the public reclaims its leverage. Through a series of lightning talks and practitioner Q&A, we'll examine the structural pressures facing K-12 cybersecurity and make the case that collective action may be the most powerful tool we have.
