Image fakery technology has taken a great leap forward in the past few years, driven by inexpensive computing power and sophisticated software that is widely available. You can now make anyone say anything, in near real-time, and alter documents that are supposed to be trustworthy in a hard-to-detect manner. Possible solutions, including a checksum/blockchain approach, will be presented.
