Effective cyber security requires that governments, private companies, and NGOs work together to understand threats in cyberspace, and to share information and capabilities for mitigating them. With the burgeoning ‘Smart City’ development in Asia, this becomes even more pertinent. Without this collaboration, national and economic security would be in jeopardy.
