RSA CONFERENCE 2015 CLOSES WITH HOLLYWOOD STAR ALEC BALDWIN
BEDFORD, MA – April 9, 2015 – RSA Conference, the world’s leading information security conferences and expositions, today announces that television and film star Alec Baldwin will be part of the closing ceremonies for RSA Conference 2015 taking place on Friday, April 24th in San Francisco, CA.
Celebrated as one of the most recognizable comedic talents in Hollywood, Baldwin is also regarded worldwide for his keen intellect, insight and wit. His personal passions range across the cultural spectrum, well outside the narrow lanes of the entertainment industry. Alec will engage in a special 1:1 interview as part of the closing keynotes’ annual “The Hugh Thompson Show.” Attendees should expect a few surprises as they discuss the intersection between Hollywood and Privacy.
On television, Baldwin starred alongside Tina Fey on NBC’s 30 Rock, winner of multiple Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series. Baldwin received eight SAG Awards (seven individual, one ensemble), three Golden Globes, the Television Critics Award and two Emmy Awards as “Best Actor in a Comedy Series.” Baldwin has appeared in over forty films, including Beetle Juice, Working Girl, The Hunt for Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Aviator, and The Departed among others. He earned an Oscar nomination for his role in romantic drama The Cooler.
Baldwin is also a dedicated supporter of numerous causes related to the arts. He serves on the boards of The Hamptons International Film Festival, The New York Philharmonic, The Roundabout Theatre Company and Guild Hall of East Hampton. He is an active supporter of The Actors Fund and The Public Theatre/New York Shakespeare Festival, among many others.
