Growing Developer Challenges Spur New RSAC Tracks

Posted on in Podcasts

RSAC is where the world talks security—and it’s a conversation that evolves each year based on the needs of the cybersecurity community as a whole. A timely example of this is the debut of two new tracks at RSAC 2020: product security and open source tools. In this podcast, Britta Glade talks to Rockwell Automation’s Megan Samford and SecurityCurve’s Ed Moyle about the latest software development issues that helped fuel the creation of these tracks. Some of the topics to be covered include:

  • How building security into the earliest phases of development has led to the growing adoption of a shift-left paradigm
  • The challenges of analyzing, testing and securing the huge amounts of code in open source software
  • How to ensure product security in light of an ever-expanding external supply chain
