Hello RSAC™ Members!
Checking in to share an update about some changes coming to the RSAC™ Membership Platform. After nearly a year since our Membership preview launch, we've been paying close attention to how you use the platform. Based on your feedback, we've made the decision to remove some features so we can invest in and improve the features you value the most. Here are the details:
What We're Improving
First, we're doubling down on the features that have gotten the most traction to date: Library, Groups, and Daily Brief. Over the coming months, you can expect a better UI, personalization, streamlined Groups navigation, and new capabilities that will make it easier to access, share, and discuss insights.
What's Changing
On March 12, 2026, at 9 AM ET, we'll be removing the following features: AI Assistant, Play & Learn, CyberAtlas, Secure Chat, and Contacts. Groups to five focused communities—please check them out and join the ones most relevant to you (see our FAQ below for details). Based on your feedback, and as we continue to improve the platform, some of these features may return in the future with meaningful improvements.
We Want Your Feedback!
This community exists because of you, and your input shapes our future roadmap. As we continue to make improvements to the platform, we’d love to hear your feedback. Sign up here to share your feedback with the RSAC development team and help us improve the Membership platform.
Our Commitment
We remain dedicated to building a platform that embodies RSAC's core principles: sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and working together to create a safer digital world. These changes allow us to invest in the tools that help us achieve this mission.
Thank you for being part of our community...and see you on the platform!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What features are being removed?
AI Assistant, Play & Learn, CyberAtlas, Secure Chat, and Contacts.
Why are these features being removed?
After nearly a year of listening to member feedback, we've decided to focus our resources on the features you use most: Library, Groups, and Daily Brief. This allows us to deliver a better experience where it matters most.
What's happening with Groups?
We're consolidating Groups into five focused communities to make conversations easier to navigate and more engaging:
- RSAC Community Hub—Introductions, member connections, and platform updates
- Cybersecurity (General)—Broad cybersecurity news, trends, and discussion
- AI & Security—AI's impact on security, tools, and real-world examples
- RSAC Conference—Year-round Conference updates and attendee connections
- Live Events & AMAs—RSAC webcasts, AMAs, and live sessions
When we consolidate to five Groups, conversation history from closed Groups will be archived. If there are discussions you want to keep, save them before March 12.
Will I lose any data once the features are removed?
You will lose access to data from removed features — save your data by March 12, 2026:
- Secure Chat:
- Save important conversations to a secure location
- You can create an encrypted backup of your Secure Chat data. On your iOS Membership app, navigate to Secure Chat and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Select "Secure Chat Recovery Keys," scroll down and tap "Create a new backup." Enter a secure recovery passphrase (keep this secret and memorable), then tap “Start new backup." This creates an encrypted backup of your conversation keys.
- Contacts: Export or save contact details you want to keep
- AI Assistant: Save any questions and answers you want to reference later
After March 12, this data will no longer be accessible through the platform.
What if I use one of the features being removed?
We understand this may be disappointing. We encourage you to explore Library, Groups, and Daily Brief, which will have improvements in the coming months. You can also sign up here to share feedback with us about what features matter most to you.
Will any of these features come back?
We're currently focused on enhancing Library, Groups, and Daily Brief. Based on your feedback, and as we continue to improve the platform, some of these features may return in the future with improvements.
When exactly will this happen?
Features will be removed on March 12, 2026, at 9 AM ET.
Will you be launching an Android app?
We've heard your feedback about Android support and are evaluating options for the future. For now, you can access the Membership platform from any Android device through your mobile browser at https://portal.onersac.com/link/home.
