RSAC 2025 Conference is in full swing! Today, we enjoyed 13 keynotes and 82 track sessions led by speakers who shared inspirational stories and insights with thousands of our attendees. If you were unable to attend all the sessions you wanted to, remember that many are available on demand on the session pages on our website within four hours.

Some highlights from today’s agenda include:

Once again, a crowd gathered at the RSAC™ Launch Pad, to see finalists, Blue41, Sybil, and The Hacking Games give their best Shark Tank® pitches to Sarah Guo from Conviction Partners LLC, Barmak Meftah from Ballistic Ventures, and Enrique Salem from Bain Capital Ventures. It was a tough group of judges, but all three contenders made strong pitches

The annual Cryptographers' Panel took center stage, a highlight for many attendees. Renowned cryptographers delved into some of the most pressing questions in cybersecurity today: How will AI transform security? What impact will quantum computing have on encryption? And how are cryptocurrencies reshaping digital security? This dynamic panel explored the intersection of cutting-edge technologies and their implications for the future of cybersecurity.

We heard from Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, about how the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is strengthening America’s cybersecurity infrastructure in Making America Safe Again Through Cyber Defense. The session underscored the importance of both immediate action and long-term strategies to ensure the nation’s resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Ron Howard, the driving force behind films like A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Cocoon, and Solo, took the stage with daughter Bryce Dallas Howard to discuss his approach to storytelling, his willingness to push boundaries, and his thoughts on advancements in technology. Inside the Beautiful Mind of Ron Howard was a must-see for cinema fans!

Messages that Mobilize: How to Make People Care About Cybersecurity explored how storytelling can bridge the gap between technical expertise and public awareness. The group discussed how engaging narratives can inspire people to take personal responsibility for their cybersecurity, helping protect individuals and communities from growing digital threats.

And of course, there was ample content focused on AI and cybersecurity as the landscape continues to evolve
  • AI Safety: Where Do We Go From Here? dug into how organizations can address AI risks, with in-depth insights into integrating safety protocols into existing security infrastructure. Representatives from Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and the UK AI Safety Institute shared their thoughts on the evolving landscape of AI safety.
  • In AI, Security, and Trust, Bruce Schneier explored the complexities of trusting AI systems, emphasizing the dual challenges of ensuring both technological integrity and societal trust. He discussed the need for robust government regulation to create confidence in AI technologies, ultimately fostering a safer digital environment.
