We’re back! What a first day it has been. We are thrilled to welcome you back to San Francisco for RSAC™ 2025 Conference.

Some of the most innovative and intelligent people in the industry have already taken the RSAC stage during today’s opening keynote, track sessions, and seminars. With many more to come! Since it is impossible to be in more than one place at once, here’s a quick review of what you might have missed, and what you can look forward to tomorrow:

Announcing This Year’s RSAC Innovation Sandbox Contest Winner

Congratulations to ProjectDiscovery, named “The RSAC™ Most Innovative Startup 2025” at this afternoon’s 20th annual contest. After making their case to our esteemed judges, ProjectDiscovery secured the win for its open-source technology.

We also wanted to congratulate the 10 finalists, each of whom received a $5 million investment to drive cybersecurity innovation. This contest continues to get more and more challenging each year, and they are certainly in good company. Since the start of the contest 20 years ago, the top 10 finalists have tallied more than 90 acquisitions and received over $16.4 billion in investments.

Highlights from Monday:

  • As AI continues to transform the digital landscape, Jeetu Patel, EVP and Chief Product Officer at Cisco, delved into the challenges of securing and managing an increasingly AI-powered workforce in Protecting AI Infrastructure: Building Secure, Scalable & Resilient Systems.
  • In The Intelligence War: Winning Against Nation-States, John Fokker, Head of Threat Intelligence at Trellix, explained the rising threats from nation-state cyber, emphasizing the importance of strategic, operational, and collaborative intelligence in the current geopolitical climate.
  • Lastly, with agentic AI revolutionizing cybersecurity through enhanced problem-solving, agent collaboration, and iterative learning, Microsoft Security’s Vasu Jakkal, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Security, explored the future of the industry in Security in the Age of Agentic AI

What’s happening on Tuesday?

Tuesday is the first full day of our keynote presentations. Keep in mind that keynotes and track sessions will be available on-demand within four hours after their live occurrence and can be found on the session pages.

  • AI, Security, and Trust - 2:25 - 3:15 PM at YBCA Blue Shield of California Theater. Bruce Schneier, renowned security technologist, explores the dual aspects of trust in AI systems—technological trust and social trust—and how government regulation is key to building social trust in AI.
  • If you didn’t get enough startup inspiration from Innovation Sandbox, RSAC™ Launch Pad is back from 3:30 - 4:20 PM at Moscone South 203. Watch three early-stage startups pitch their bold cybersecurity innovations Shark Tank®-style to a panel of venture capitalists. This is your chance to catch the next big thing in cybersecurity before anyone else.
  • Inside the Beautiful Mind of Ron Howard - 3:55 - 4:25 PM at Moscone West Street Level. Bryce Dallas Howard chats with father, Ron Howard, about his creative journey, and how technology and storytelling have shaped his award-winning filmmaking career.
  • For networking, tomorrow RSAC Sandbox and RSAC Early-Stage Expo will be hosting another favorite: CyBEER Ops. Discover nearly 80 rising stars in cybersecurity innovation, offering you a unique chance to connect with the future leaders of the industry. The taps will be flowing from 4:30 - 6:15 PM at the Sandbox (Moscone South 207).
