Zhouhan Chen

Zhouhan Chen is the founder of Safe Link Network, a company that builds technologies for social good. Zhouhan received his PhD in data science from New York University. His PhD thesis focuses on how false and malicious URLs spread on the Internet. Zhouhan is the creator of Information Tracer, a tool to detect influence campaigns across social media platforms. For this project, he received grants from NYC Media Lab, and won the 2022 Twitter Chirp Developer Challenge. Zhouhan also invented Malware Discoverer, a malicious URL discovery platform. Both systems are used by researchers, journalists and security analysts. Zhouhan previously interned at Twitter, Google, and AWS. He has presented his research at venues such as DEFCON and The Web Conference.
