Yngve Pettersen

Yngve Pettersen has been a software developer at Opera Software since 1997, working on network protocols and general security in the Opera Browser. In this role, Pettersen actively participates in related standards work in IETF (TLS, HTTP, HTTPstate, others), W3C (Web Security Context WG) and CABForum. He developed Opera's support for SSL/TLS and revocation (CRL and OCSP). He is the editor of the IETF TLS WG draft for Multiple Stapling. He has been Opera’s representative with the CABForum since its founding. A native of Norway, he earned his Cand. Scient (M.S. equivalent) degree in Computer Science from University of Bergen, Norway, 1996.
