William Whyte

William Whyte leads the cryptographic research team at Security Innovation which developed NTRU and the related technologies. He led the same team at NTRU Cryptosystems prior to its acquisition by Security Innovation, and before that was Senior Cryptographer at Baltimore Technologies. He is Chair of the IEEE 1363 Working Group for new standards in public key cryptography and has served as Technical Editor of two published IEEE standards and one ASC X9 standard. These days he mainly works in security for connected vehicles but he still loves lattice-based crypto.
