William Sieglein

Bill Sieglein is Founder and CEO of CISO Executive Network, a global community of information security and compliance executives. He hosts nearly 75 events each year with the most influential CISOs in the US.

Prior to his current role he spent 12 years advising large organizations in information security, risk management, privacy and governance, often serving as the interim CISO/CSO. He also served as CSO for the PCAOB.

His career began in US Intelligence where he spent 16 years. Among his accomplishments during that time were pioneering the certification & accreditation process for the CIA and vastly improving information security awareness training at the NSA.
He wrote the book, “Security Planning & Disaster Recovery,” and speaks frequently at industry events and for television media.
