William (“Bill”) A. Hall, Jr. is Senior Counsel in the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (“CCIPS”) of the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC, where he specializes in the investigation and prosecution of computer crime cases, particularly those involving computer intrusions, transnational criminal organizations and threats to national security. He has also served in other capacities at the Justice Department, including as an Associate Deputy Attorney General, as an Assistant US Attorney in San Diego, California and as a prosecutor in the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School.
