William Rankin

William Rankin is the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at ECS. In this position, he has helped numerous companies establish information security programs that align with their business and industry needs. This work not only helps ensure industry compliance with applicable regulations and frameworks, but also helps protect the future of information security and cybersecurity on a broader scale. William has held previous leadership roles at American Technology Services, Symantec Corporation, and Gannett/USA Today. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University, as well as numerous cybersecurity and compliance certifications.
