He began his freelance career in 1996 and over the years has written features, news reports and blog posts for publications such as Baseline, CIO Insight, InformationWeek, Investor's Business Daily, TechTarget and Wired Magazine. In addition to his frequent blogging for RSA Conferences, he has also written white papers, case studies, blog posts, Web content and marketing collateral for companies such as NVIDIA, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, VMware, RSA, NetSuite, Computer Associates, Kony Mobile Solutions, Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories and Oxford Economics. From 2000-2006, Tony was a senior editor at InformationWeek, where he covered technologies such as CRM, collaboration platforms and storage, as well as IT issues in the travel and hospitality industry. A 1988 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, Tony spends his spare time stopping fights between his two young sons, facilitating and benefiting from deep personal work through the men's organization Mankind Project, playing saxophone in and around Grass Valley, Calif., and, when time allows, traveling.
