Tim Gallo has over 20 years’ experience in information security and intelligence. Most days he is helping clients understand the importance of intelligence as a guiding principle for building out effective security operations and technology integration. At one time he helped develop several intelligence products. These included threat and vulnerability management tools, IOC prediction algorithms, intelligence consulting and services. Often, he can be found out in the desert on his Harley with a flamethrower, sometimes with just a flamethrower. His book, Ransomware: Defending Against Digital Extortion, has been used by many to aid in their response to the rise ransomware in cybercriminal circles and with the shift to utilization by cyberespionage actors as well.
